This track will prepare students for leadership in international and domestic careers in non-governmental organizations (NGOs), government, business, and transnational organizations. This track is based on interdisciplinary and professional knowledge, as well as conceptual frameworks, analytic tools, and methodologies from multiple fields. This track integrates students’ specialized skills within the broader interdisciplinary, intellectual, and public policy demands of the challenges confronting the world’s populations. Relevant topical areas that include environmental issues, health and food, international development, and social movements. Students in this pathway are interested in careers in sectors like political science, international and postsecondary education, sociology, policy analysis, diplomacy, humanitarian affairs, environmental policy, public and social affairs, human rights, international affairs, and communications.
