Fellowship Opportunities
Graduate College Fellowship Office: The Graduate College maintains a site with information about internal fellowships and answers to commonly asked questions.
Fellowship Finder: Contains over 1,100 listings of external fellowships. Students can filter and search to find fellowships applicable to their course of study.
CSGGE Graduate Fellowships and Awards: CSGGE holds an annual competition for graduate student awards with a deadline mid-February. We offer two full fellowships and an array of smaller research awards.
Illinois International Program (IIP) Scholarships: Scholarships for students with international relations/global studies-related research interests.
NSEP Fellowships: National Security Education Program's (NSEP) primary mission is to develop a pipeline of foreign language and culture expertise for the U.S. federal government workforce.
SSRC Fellowships: Social Science Research Council (SSRC) administered fellowships that foster the innovation of new policy solutions to meet our most pressing needs.
Woodrow Wilson Center Fellowships: The Wilson Center offers several fellowships including foreign policy and arms control focused opportunities.
AAUW Fellowships: One of the largest funders of women's graduate education.
Davis-Putter Scholarship: Provides grants to students actively working for peace and justice.
Project GO: Intended for ROTC students to develop linguistic and cross-cultural communication skills.
