Midwest Arabic Debate Championship

The U.S. Universities Midwest Arabic Debate Championship, is dedicated to fostering cross-cultural dialogue and intellectual exchange among universities in the Midwest. The primary goal is to provide a unique and inclusive platform for students, promoting cultural understanding and academic excellence through engaging Arabic language debates. This initiative carries significant intellectual value by creating an environment that encourages critical thinking, linguistic proficiency, and a deep appreciation for diverse cultures. In collaboration with Qatar Debate on a national level, we are excited to host this event at our campus, bringing together approximately ten Midwest universities.

Held from April 19-21, 2024, at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Building and the Campus Instructional Facility, this event will be open to all students and staff at the university, creating an enriching environment for learning about the Arab world and culture. This inclusiveness is particularly important given the current global climate, and we believe that providing such a platform for cultural exchange is a meaningful and timely endeavor.
