Congratulations to the iGlobal program, a CGS-supported initiative by the College of Education’s Office of International Programs, on being one of the recipients of the 2025 NAFSA Senator Paul Simon Award for Campus Internationalization!

The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is one of three universities, nationwide, to be honored with this annual award from NAFSA: Association of International Educators. Named after the late U.S. Senator Paul Simon of Illinois, the NAFSA Simon awards recognize outstanding commitment and accomplishment in campus internationalization. The Simon Spotlight award honors exceptional campus programs or initiatives focused on internationalization.
