Speaker: Professor Rajmohan Gandhi

In his talk for CGS, Prof. Rajmohan Gandhi examined how the pandemic influenced inequalities in the world’s largest democracies, the U.S. and India. What is the pandemic’s impact on ethnonationalism’s appeal in the two countries? How has it affected their relations with China and with each other?

Rajmohan Gandhi is Research Professor of Education Policy, Organization & Leadership at the College of Education at UIUC. He is the biographer and grandson of Mahatma Gandhi.
