The Global Policy Forum Certificate of Participation recognizes students' participation in professional enrichment and skill-development opportunities associated with the CGS Global Policy Forum. Students earn recognition by completing three approved professional-development workshops and participating in the Global Policy Forum. The certificate is a non-credit recognition of participation and skill development and does not constitute an academic or professional certification.
This certificate represents active engagement in skill-based professional development. Students will have proof of completion in not just the forum, but several workshops geared toward experiential learning, collaboration, and professional development.
Requirements
- Complete three approved professional-development workshops; AND
- Participate and attend in the one-day Global Policy Forum [Forum Date TBD]
Workshop Eligibility
All CGS pre-approved workshops automatically meet certificate eligibility criteria. Other UIUC-sponsored professional-development workshops can qualify with additional information for review and approval.
After attending any workshop, please complete the Workshop Verification Form. This form will confirm your attendance and track your progress throughout the semester. For proof of attendance, physical signatures are preferred, not required. Additional materials can be forwarded such as: an official attendance confirmation, completion email, or dated communication from the organizers can be submitted with the form for review.
