This course will focus on the interrelationship between information, the privacy and security concerns that come with digitization, and global society at large. It will introduce students to the variety of dependencies that exist in our technical world with the unique threats to each. This course is designed for students interested in the interplay of societies' use of technology and physical and criminal threats to its functioning. Open to sophomores, juniors and seniors. 

 

This course will satisfy the Global Informatics Capstone course requirement for the Global Informatics Certificate and will be offered in the fall semester.
