Impact of political and social conflicts on climate action planning in a global context – Vinisha Basnet & Moazam Hakim

Climate change and climate action are active social factors in an emerging area of research. This project will feature a conversation that addresses current questions about climate change and climate action. The project will include a series of debates that focus on the relationships between the impacts of climate change and various social aspects in the modern world. An 8 week/2-credit-hour course on this topic will be introduced, with an emphasis on global perspectives in relation to specific political and social conflicts in the Global South.
