To draw attention to areas of strength and excellence at Illinois, the Center for Global Studies organizes global issues research, teaching and outreach into Research Clusters that bridge disciplines, regions, and professions, and support cutting-edge innovations in teaching and conceptualizing global studies.

Social and Policy Sciences Research Cluster activities include support for courses, informed lectures for diverse campus audiences, faculty and graduate seminars, conferences and workshops, publications, and outreach programs for educators.
