Global Studies Library
The Global Studies Library provides access to cross-disciplinary resources such as databases, books, journals, and documents, and a dedicated Global Studies Librarian to assist with global studies research and course support.
Global Biosecurity
The Center for Global Studies supports a seminar-based course designed to provide students with broad coverage of key areas of scientific, legal, social, ethical, and political aspects of biosecurity, emphasizing current problems and research in the areas of biodefense, emerging infectious diseases, synthetic biology, and other topics.
Music in Many Languages
This intensive institute will address ways of incorporating less-commonly taught languages (languages other than Spanish, French and German) and cultures into the classroom, with special emphasis on the elementary general music classroom. Languages will include Chinese, Arabic, Bulgarian, Zulu, and Portuguese (tentative).
